Who we are
Deep roots and a renewed vision
The Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1937 as a non-profit civil society organization aiming to represent the interests of the business community in Lattakia Governorate and promote a vibrant and sustainable investment environment.
For decades, the Chamber has kept pace with economic transformations in Syria and the region, and has been an active partner in development through its services, initiatives, and open channels of communication between the public and private sectors.
We believe that the success of merchants and industrialists is a fundamental pillar of the prosperity of the local economy. From this perspective, we work to:
- Facilitating commercial and industrial transactions through easy certification and follow-up services.
- Empowering entrepreneurs with the knowledge and training to meet market challenges.
- Creating a collaborative environment between local and international investors.
- Encouraging national industries and promoting Syrian products in foreign markets.
History of the Chamber of Commerce
Since its founding in 1928, the Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry has sought to be close to its members and the business community. Today, we continue this long-standing journey through modern tools and technologies that allow you to access the Chamber’s services wherever you are.
We believe that modernity is not a break from the past, but rather an extension of it. That’s why we provide reliable means of accessing information, keeping up with business developments, and communicating directly with our specialized team through our website and digital platforms.
